🚨🚨🚨 IMPORTANT NEXT STEPS: Join Us This Wednesday! 🚨🚨🚨
Mon, Mar 10 10:24am
Hi Everyone
First off, I just want to extend the biggest THANK YOU to all of you who sent out our advocacy emails last week.

Our voices were definitely heard, and in direct response, Supervisor Connie Chan asked if she could attend our Emergency Budget Response PTA Meeting this coming Wednesday. (We said yes, obvi.)

Which brings me to the next step I promised you:

I need everyone to attend this Wednesday's Emergency Budget Response PTA Meeting.

At the meeting, we will:
  • Dig into the details of the projected cuts for the 25/26 school year
  • Determine our community priorities
  • Discuss how PTA funds will be allocated to offset those cuts
  • Set fundraising plans and goals
I want to emphasize that final budget plans are due in the next few weeks, so this is THE opportunity to weigh in how our PTA dollars are spent for 25/26. We want as much input as possible.

If you can't join in person, join via Zoom.

Let's end on a bright note: The reason we have nearly $200k to offset these new cuts is because last year the Dolphins SHOWED UP — you planned, pulled off, and donated big to our annual auction and epic party, Frisco Flashback.

And we are ready to do it again.

Please Save the Date:

Lafayette Fundraiser Celebration

Through calm waters and stormy seas, Lafayette’s parent community is the tide that keeps our incredible school sailing strong! Together we will fend off mutiny from the budget cut pirates. Join us for a magical evening celebrating our strength and spirit!

Thank you for all you do! See you Wednesday! And yes, we will be heading to Rampant afterwards, bc I for one will definitely need a drink.
