🦩 Pink Wave Day - Stand up to bullying!
Mon, Apr 28
Lafayette Elementary School
1 day before

The pink wave started in Nova Scotia when two students saw a boy getting bullied for wearing pink. They started the pink wave, a day where everyone wears pink to stand up to bullying.

On April 28th, all students, staff, and families are encouraged to wear pink to show that we at Lafayette are advocates for self-expression and will use our bystander power to say no to bullying. For the days preceding April 28th, the school will be pinkified, and students will be learning about the pink wave in class.
