Hi Lafayette Families,

What a week! 

If, like me, you have found yourself Googling "Will my kid go to school if the Department of Education disappears??" then I suggest you join us at the PTA meeting tonight.  (Spoiler: yes)

We won't have all the answers to all your questions (no one on earth yet possesses those), but we have been doing a lot of reading and researching and will have some important info to share regarding our plans moving forward. 

I also want to emphasize (again and again) the power of community and the resources we have as a small, local group to care for ourselves and each other....and to spread that care as wide as possible. 

Again, we have some ideas. But we need YOU to make it work. 

If you haven't been to a PTA meeting, I would say today is the PERFECT day to show up for your first one. If you have been showing up regularly...I see you, and I am so grateful for you!! 

We'll have snacks, childcare, a raffle and an always lively afterparty at Rampant Wine.
