Hi Lafayette families and teachers/staff, My name is Cristina Manzanares, a proud mom of two children at Lafayette and co- chair for our Stop/Drop/Go program. Some of you may know that I run a small neighborhood food rescue pantry out of our home on 38th and Fulton called Pantry 38. I wanted to extend a warm invitation for anyone who may be interested to stop by this Saturday, 4/25 from 11am-12pm. We received an abundance of fresh fruits, vegetables and frozen fish and would love to share with our Lafayette community so it doesn’t go to waste.
You may have seen me occasionally on 36th and Anza after school handing out food—this is part of the same effort to support families and reduce food waste. If your family could benefit, please feel free to come by. Everything is freely shared with care and community in mind. If you want to swing by, pleaae text me 650-678-8362 or respond in the messages on Konstella. We will be set up around 10:45am but open at 11am.
Always in community, ♥️ Cristina M. - Sabrina and Ava Luo’s Mom
