Hi Everyone!
You are SO close to getting no more emails from me....so, savor this one, maybe?
But for real, I just have a few quick (and FUN!) favors to ask of you all. We have accomplished SO much together over the past two years, I would love for us to end on a BANG. (and with lots of CAPS for emphasis, clearly)
As you all know (you better know, considering all the fliers and banners we've printed) that our big grown-folks party, and THE fundraiser that pays for our educator positions is coming up THIS SATURDAY.
First....please come. We've planned so many fun surprises and performances and lined up some great food and drinks. And the live auction items are BONKERS. I personally want nothing more than to close out the year by kicking back with some grown-ups and toasting to all we have pulled off. And it's close by! Just behind the zoo! Easy! You can dress like a steampunk mermaid or mysteriously dead whale (too soon?) or simply wear something in the palette of our cool and dreamy beach community (as in....nearly any color at all). Seriously....easy!
Second, if you're coming (thank you!!), go ahead and buy your tickets now. Like right now. We have volunteers getting everything ready for a smooth check-in process, and the longer you wait, the more frantic printing they will have to do later.
Third, get in on some auction action! The online auction is live and there are SO many hot deals to be had. Gift cards for all your favorite restaurants, salons, and shops; camps and classes; and loads of creative count-me-ins. I've already signed the whole family up to learn the Pledge of Respect in ASL (thanks Ms. Isa!), and Danny and I are thrilled to host another lively, late-night dinner party in the wood shop with homemade sourdough pizza and wine service from the cute boys at Rampant.
Finally, if you can't make the event, please go ahead and drop a donation right here. We have a big goal to reach this year, and if we don't reach it, we won't have the funds to pay for the educators the PTA has committed to funding. That would be a problem. Not technically MY problem after June 31, but...JKJKJK.
And if you have a sizable gift to give, email our fundraising lead directly (Michael Winn, mikewinn1978@gmail.com), so we can ensure it has the biggest impact.
Thank you in advance for all your support, and for showing up for your community and your kids!
See you Saturday!!
erin
