Hello Lafayette Community!! Field Day is THIS THURSDAY!!
Some additional details of the day :

If you are volunteering for the day or even just hanging out with your class, please be courteous and pick up trash when you see it. There will be Lafayette garbage cans throughout the event; please use these instead of the park's cans. We'll be taking all of our trash out of the park after the event. Let's do our best to leave the meadow in better shape than we found it.
- Our Headquarters will be near the bathrooms, we will have extra trash bags, paper towels, gloves, and a first aid kit.

We still need some volunteers for a few of the tasks of the day, namely another crossing guard at Fulton and 36th Ave for the kids' walk back to school after the event, help with Egg / Spoon races, the tie-dye station, and the clean-up. See the sign-up sheet for spots.

Lastly, your students are encouraged to bring any soccer balls, footballs, etc., for the day. Just remember to take them home with you!
- Attached is the intended layout for the Thursday setup, with grades assigned to groups of a combination of park and folding tables. We'll have signs up by the table to help find your grade's area.
- Things to remember for a day at GG Park - dress appropriately! It could be 50 degrees, it could be 70 degrees, it could be both! The weather for Thursday looks like LOTS of sunshine, send your child with sunscreen. And the meadow will most likely have some dew that the sun hopefully dries up by mid-morning.
