Dear Lafayette Families,

I'm excited to share some updates about our PTA as we kick off the new year!

This year, we've made a change to how our PTA is organized and have expanded the Executive Board to include several several new Committee Lead positions.

Committee Leads are parent volunteers who take charge of specific areas — like fundraising, family events, teacher appreciation, or communications — and work closely with the Executive Board to bring these programs to life. This new structure means more people are involved in decision-making, more hands are available to make events successful, and there are more ways for any parent to get involved in a way that fits their interests and schedule.

With that, please join me in welcoming our new PTA Executive Board. The Executive Board is the group of parent volunteers who lead our PTA — they help plan events, manage our budget, communicate with the school and district, and make sure our PTA runs smoothly throughout the year. We're VERY excited to announce the School Musical during our September 16 PTA Meeting!

6-7pm in the Auditorium - childcare and light refreshments will be available!
