Hi lovely parent community,

With rain in the forecast and stories I've been hearing from our awesome parents who volunteer each morning, I wanted to send out some quick reminders for drivers.

-Please wait until a volunteer opens the door for your child(ren) to exit the vehicle on the passenger side of your car.  It might be hard to wait, but what a wonderful opportunity to model for our kids how to learn patience and wait our turn.

-No U-turns or exiting the SDG line early.  It might take an extra minute, but it helps to keep things running smoothly when everyone follows the same rules. 

-Please no double parking blocking along the SDG line on Anza between 35th to 38th.  This creates congestion not only for our parents but our neighbors.

Thank you to everyone who uses the line and follows the protocols.  I and all of our fellow parent volunteers appreciate you! Truly, the vast majority of those who use the line do so in a kind and respectful manner.  It's part of what makes volunteering for SDG enjoyable in the mornings, in addition to seeing all your children's smiling faces.
