STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK – MONDAY MAY 19, 2025 – CASTAWAY

After much anticipation and preparation by Lincoln parents, Staff Appreciation Week began Monday May 19th! 

Teachers and staff started the day by being surprised by decorated doors that honored them with various awards. There was a buzz as to who was awarded what!  Teachers enjoyed a little extra time as ALL yard, recess and lot duties for today were covered by parents. Teachers were also specially invited to attend the "Oscar’s “Castaway” themed lunch in the Staff Lounge and many came to enjoy the festivities! They dined on veggie and chicken skewers, biriyani rice, tropical fruit prepared by parents and for dessert, tropical fruit sorbets. They also enjoyed various nectars and coconut water. 

Finally, teachers were treated to a “swag bag” with a choice of beautiful shell jewelry, unique items, and coconut oils and lotions donated by Lincoln parents in appreciation of their teachers. 

Tuesday is "Intermission" where teachers and staff will be invited to sample delicious, sweet treats.
