• February 5th to 19th – Norwex Event: Opportunity to Buy Norwex Products Online Starts 

• February 14th – School Wash for Wednesday Ones from 8:30-10:30 AM (Mandatory)

• February 15th – Scholastic Book Orders Due

• February 16th to 20th – Little Wonders is Close for Winter Break

• February 17th – Virtual Elementary Support from 8-9:30 PM

• March 5th – All School Meeting from 7:30-9 PM in Kloss Hall (Mandatory Meeting)

All School Meeting (Mandatory): Self-Compassion & Mindful Parenting

Experience Self-Compassion and Mindful Parenting, a workshop immersed in compassion cultivation based on the latest research on mindfulness and altruism. Explore strategies for strengthening self-compassion, connecting with others, and finding peace in difficult circumstances.

Norwex Online Event – Starts February 5 and ends February 19th!

We’re excited to offer families the chance to purchase the Norwex microfiber products we use at Little Wonders for your own homes. Want to learn more? Read through a short Google document with videos at your own pace here.

Scholastic Book Orders 

The Little Wonders Scholastic Book Club is a fun way to grow your home library and help our school earn free books and resources.

Teacher Suzanne found some good packs to recommend — Leprechaun Picture book pack, Elephant & Piggie reader collection, Be Creative Pack by Peter Reynolds, If You Give A pack, Hello! My Name is Animal fact pack and the Eric Carle board book pack. Individual books that you may enjoy That’s (Not) Mine, One is a Pinata, I Spy Book, When Things Aren’t Going Right, Go Left (by Peter Reynolds, Teacher Suzanne’s favorite), Three Ways to Trap a Leprechaun ($2) and Spring Stink:A Little Bruce book. There are lots of books about pets, animals, real life biography, tv and movie characters too. Order by February 15th!

4. In the classroom by the schedule, there are order codes for a free book. Feel free to take one.

Take the Next Step in Our Little Wonders Community — Join the Board!

If your family is returning to Little Wonders next year, we invite you to consider a leadership role on our Board of Directors. The Board is made up of 12 positions that support different aspects of our school community, including President, VP Liaison, VP Registrar, Treasurer, Secretary, Jobs, Development, Technology, Publicity, Facilities, Events, and San Mateo Council Representative.

The Board meets once a month, and participation fulfills your school job and school wash requirements. Board members also receive priority registration for their preferred class.

If you’re curious to learn more, we encourage you to connect with any of our teachers or current Board members to hear about their experiences and ask questions. If you are interested, please fill out this form by Friday, March 6, 2026. Filling out the form is in no way a commitment to serve, just an indication of wanting to learn more, and you may indicate interest in as many positions as you like.
