We are pleased to propose the slate for the 2020-2021 Little Wonders Board of Directors. Please vote on the slate using this link.

AT HOME WITH GRATITUDE BLOG SERIES
We will be running a series of “At Home With Gratitude” topics on our blog. We hope it will be helpful by providing support and resources during these unique times. As Mireille’s recent blog post mentioned, we hope to find the silver lining and embrace this as an opportunity to slow down and spend quality time with the ones we love most. By doing this with gratitude we will set an example for our children and hopefully make this a time that our little ones will remember fondly.
Our first topic is Top Board Games for Families with Toddlers. We hope you discover some new family favorites or even try out the Board Game Olympics. Happy gaming!
FOLLOW US ON SOCIAL MEDIA - LOTS OF GREAT CONTENT
Our social media team is regularly posting ideas and activities specifically for our community. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram if you haven’t already. We would love to engage with you through those platforms so please comment with your ideas and photos of activities that you have been doing at home. If you have a picture you would like to share, email it to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will post it!
AT-HOME INFANT & TODDLER ACTIVITIES AND RESOURCES - WITH PRINTABLE CUT-OUT ACTIVITY CARDS
We suggest bookmarking this Google Doc to refer to when you are looking for at-home ideas. It’s been re-formatted and is very user friendly! We’ve shared all kinds of age-appropriate activities, from cooking to art and science activities. Let’s all contribute our best ideas to this document and make it a valuable shared resource! The third page contains 36 at-home activities in a printable cut-out format so you can make a game of choosing the activities!
NEW WAYS TO STAY CONNECTED
Thank you to our Technology chairs and Webmaster for helping us to stay in contact with all families virtually. Each staff member will be holding Zoom circle time with the families as well as one hour or more discussions at a prescribed time each week. Each teacher also has a Google classroom where we can add ideas for projects and any other things we may want to share. Staff will share codes. Konstella remains the best avenue for messaging and posting handouts. Your children will enjoy our new YouTube channel on our website (under the resources tab). Staff will continue to post fun videos that you can all enjoy. We know this is quite a big change and we are committed to continuing to support our families. Please don’t hesitate to contact your teacher if you need special time or want to suggest ideas for more support. We are here for you!
