WED. EVENING CLASS PJ MORNING

SAVE THE DATE - DINE AND DONATE AT TOMATINA
Join us for a Dine & Donate, a fundraising event sponsored by Tomatina in San Mateo (401 S. B. St.) on Tuesday, January 15, 2019. Tomatina will generously donate 15% of food and beverage sales from lunch, dinner, and takeout all day on the above date to Little Wonders for any customer that presents the flyer. Spread the word! Invite your family and friends to join you. Flyer will be sent out with next week’s announcements.
Saturday, January 5th, from 1-3 PM is the school wash for both the Wed PM and the Wed. Evening Classes. One parent from each family is required to attend. Please do respond to Evite or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you need to reschedule.
SPRING SEMESTER CLASSES
For parents with little ones 9-14 months as of January 1, 2019, we will have a Thursday PM2 class held on Thursdays from 2:30-4:30. Our New Spring Baby Play for families with 3-9 month olds as of January 1, 2019, will be offered on Tuesdays 12:30-2 PM. Both these classes will start the week of January 21st. REGISTRATION COMING SOON.

LAST CHANCE TO GET PRIORITY AT OUR PARENT TO PARENT NETWORKING OPPORTUNITY AT ALL SCHOOL MEETING FEB. 7th.
Parents can purchase a table for $25 and share their business and/or services with all our families prior to and after our business meeting and speaker. Our currently enrolled families have until January 11th, 2019 for priority on table space. After that date, others from the community are welcome to sign up and take whatever tables are left. SAVE THE DATE: PARENT RESOURCE NIGHT ON JANUARY 29th
The San Mateo Council of Parent Participation Nursery School is hosting Parents Resource Night on January 29th at 6:30 PM at Carlmont Parents Nursery School (in Belmont). This is a FREE event for our families and the families of other Council Co-Op Preschools, full of helpful presentations from local professionals on topics relevant to parenting and early childhood. Stay tuned for additional information.
BOARD MEETING - TUESDAY, JANUARY 8th
Our next Board meeting is on the evening of Tuesday, January 8th at Mireille’s house. Meetings are always open but we ask that you please reach out to Shannon at firstname.lastname@example.org to let her know that you’d like to join us.

PHOTO/VIDEO POLICY REMINDER
With the new term starting soon, and the introduction of the Little Wonders Instagram account, we wanted to remind you about the Little Wonders Photo/Video policy. The policy is in the 2018-2019 Handbook that was included in the registration email everyone received and is included below for your reference. Be sure to send an email to the Publicity Chair, Steph O’Grady, if you do not wish to have photos/videos of you or your child used externally. Please include a photo, full name, and the class you are in.
"From time to time, pictures or video of you and your child may be taken in class or at other Little Wonders' events. These images may be used internally for the benefit of the Little Wonders community, in such forms as a yearbook, placemat, newsletter/blog, or posted on the bulletin boards in the classroom. In addition, images of you or your child may be used to promote Little Wonders to potential new families or to the community at large, in such forms as flyers, promotional videos, on the Little Wonders website or the Little Wonders Facebook page. Last names will be omitted from materials intended for public use. If you have any objection to Little Wonders' use of any such images, you must notify the Publicity Chair at email@example.com, by the first day of class. All reasonable efforts will be used to accommodate your concerns. If you have any questions or concerns about this policy, please contact the Publicity Chair or Director (firstname.lastname@example.org.) Parents may not post photos of other children on facebook without consent of their parents. We appreciate this consideration and courtesy."
