 VALENTINE'S DAY FOOD DRIVE - thru Wednesday, February 14th  
Join local schools in the 14th annual Valentines for Food and help fill the Arm In Arm Food Pantry! Your child brought home a grocery bag that you can fill with non-perishable items and return to Littlebrook. Your donations will contribute to the 1400+ households receiving assistance from Arm and Arm each month.  Please see the flyer attached to the bag sent home last week for further information and ways to help.

A4. Couch to 5K - Winter Season

> Location:     Littlebrook School - Main Entrance (outside)
> Open to:      Adults  (Max:  20 adults)
> Donation:     $60 per adult
Littlebrook parents and run club coaches Dara Bellace and Allie Cassese are back by popular demand for another Couch to 5K season! This is a six-week program, meeting for about an hour one morning a week on Thursdays (2/15, 2/22, 3/1, 3/8, 3/15, 3/22). ALL ability levels are welcome! Dara and Allie will work with our Littlebrook group to ease even first-time runners into a healthy running regimen. The goal will be to run the Princeton 5K together, which will be held on Sunday, March 25th, 2018.

C6. Chinese New Year and Lego Party

> Open to:      Grades 1-3  (Max:  15 children)
> Donation:     $15 per child
Excitement for the Chinese New Year is BUILDING!  Your child will celebrate the new year, also known as the Spring Festival, with some LEGO fun. Festive snacks will be provided. This is a drop-off event. (Hint:  Parents, use the time to grab a coffee with your loved one for Valentine's Day celebrating).
 
 
UNIQUE KIDS OPPORTUNITY - NEXT SATURDAY
C8. Learn to Row at the Princeton University Boathouse 
Donated by the families of Jack, Henry & Charles Crotty, Tessa & Madeline Hughes, and Luke Smith
> Date: Saturday, February 24th, 1-2:30pm
> Location:  Princeton University Boathouse, corner of Faculty Road and Washington Road
> Open to:  Grades K-5 (Max:  32 children)
> Donation:  $20 per child
Spend a day at the Princeton University Bernard C. Shea Rowing Center and learn how to row with Men's Coaches Marty Crotty, Greg Hughes and Matt Smith, Littlebrook parents. Children will spend time learning the basics of the rowing stroke on the Erg and then move to the indoor rowing tanks. They will get a tour of the boathouse and learn about the rowing equipment. There will be time for snacks and drinks.

PRETZELS ARE COMING! - Thursday, February 22nd
Pretzels will be sold at lunchtime to benefit the Joe Fund, which provides scholarships to any Littlebrook student in need for extracurricular activities and camps. The price is $1 per pretzel.
 
CALL FOR BOX TOPS
Your Box Tops add up! In just the past few years, Littlebrook has raised over $5,000 from the Box Tops for Education program. The final submission deadline for this school year is March 1st, and Box Tops do expire, so now is the time to send in with your child whatever you have collected. Thank you for all your clipping and keep up the good work!
 
CALLING ALL SCIENCE ENTHUSIASTS!
This year, the 9th annual LB Science Expo will be held on Friday May 18. That means we need LOTS OF scientists, biologists, mathematicians, engineers, physicians, astronomers, chemists, geneticists, and more, as well as those who have a scientific hobby or passion to contribute! Share an activity and your knowledge and enthusiasm about math or science with our students! To find out more and register as a facilitator, please visit the PTO's Science Expo webpage

PRINCETON 5K - Sunday, March 25, 8:30 a.m.
Come out and support the Princeton High School Cross Country and Track & Field programs at the 8th Annual Princeton 5K, scheduled for Sunday, March 25, 8:30 am.  Presented by Pacers Princeton Running, this fast, flat USATF-sanctioned course weaves through the Princeton community.  Registration is $35; $25 for PHS athletes.  Register at http://www.princeton5k.com.
