C13. Littlebrook Bounce Party
Donated by the families of Eleanor Adams and Ewan Dunn
> Date: Thursday, March 15th, 3-5pm
> Location:  BounceU of West Windsor, 410 Princeton-Hightstown Road, West Windsor
> Open to:  Grades K-5 (Max:  50 children)
> Donation:  $15 per child
Burn off some of that early dismissal afternoon energy, whatever the weather may bring! We have the whole center to ourselves!!! Come bounce, run, and slide with your Littlebrook friends in a giant stadium filled with inflatables. Includes bounce, snack and drink. Depending on registration, we will aim to have younger and older children starting in separate rooms, then switching rooms as BounceU does for its parties.
 
 
C15. Kids Yoga at Princeton Integral Yoga Community Center

> Open to: Grades K-4 (Max:  15 children)
> Donation: $25 per child
Introduce your child to the benefits of mindfulness and yoga by taking a class at Princeton IYCC on our early dismissal day. Drop your child off for a yoga class - or stay and treat yourself to a parents-only deep relaxation in a separate studio (subject to demand). Children will enjoy healthy snacks and games afterwards in the Princeton IYCC library.
 
 
C16. GOOAALL!  Soccer Shots Clinic

Calling all sports stars!  Kick off this early dismissal day with an action-packed soccer clinic hosted by Soccer Shots. Coaches will provide soccer skill-building techniques and game time fun right at Littlebrook!

Channel your inner-Irish luck and compete in the Family Game Night! Get to know other Littlebrook K-2 families while playing board games like Trouble, Charades, Yahtzee, etc. Appetizers and (kids and adult) beverages included.

Treat yourself to some comedy and delicious desserts at LiLLiPiES. Hosted by pro speaker/stand-up comedian and Littlebrook dad, Matt Bellace.  You’ll see performances by Matt and may be a few of his comic friends – plus you’ll get a chance to do a few minutes!  It will be a fun and supportive atmosphere for all newcomers.

For the 2017-2018 school year, the last day is now Friday, June 22nd.

PSCG ARUGULA TASTING - Today, March 13th
Thanks to the generous support of Heartland Payment System, the Princeton School Gardens Cooperative is again bringing their successful “Garden State on Your Plate” program to Littlebrook during the 2017-2018 school year. “Garden State on Your Plate” brings local farmers  to lead school-wide produce tastings.   Today's chef prepared tasting was arugula (see attachments below).  To see video, click here!
 
CALLING ALL SCIENCE ENTHUSIASTS!
This year, the 9th annual LB Science Expo will be held on Friday May 18. That means we need LOTS OF scientists, biologists, mathematicians, engineers, physicians, astronomers, chemists, geneticists, and more, as well as those who have a scientific hobby or passion to contribute! PSGC FUNDRAISER  - Wednesday, March 14th
The bent spoon and LiLLiPiES will be offering a special Pi Day Princeton LiLLiPiE a la bent spoon - a mini LiLLiPiE topped with a scoop of bent spoon ice cream! ALL proceeds from the sale of these special treats will be donated to the Princeton School Gardens Cooperative. Please grab your kids, friends, colleagues, and neighbors and head over to either location on March 14 to treat yourself - and support garden-based education in the schools. THANK YOU!!!

 

PRINCETON 5K - Sunday, March 25, 8:30 a.m.
Come out and support the Princeton High School Cross Country and Track & Field programs at the 8th Annual Princeton 5K, scheduled for Sunday, March 25, 8:30 am.  Presented by Pacers Princeton Running, this fast, flat USATF-sanctioned course weaves through the Princeton community.  Registration is $35; $25 for PHS athletes.  Register at http://www.princeton5k.com.

HOMEFRONT ANNUAL 5K - Sunday, June 10th, 9:00 am

HomeFront is holding its annual  5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk.  HomeFront is a Mercer County homelessness/hunger non profit with the mission of breaking the cycle of poverty.  Please consider participating in this event by getting/staying healthy while helping homeless children.  Plus, HomeFront's Rock and Roll for Hope theme, with the participation of  Mr. McKenna's band  this year will make this event one you won't want to miss!  To start a team, or for more information, please go to www.homefrontnj.org,

 
LEARN TO ROW (FOR ADULTS) - LITTLEBROOK TEAM FORMING!
Have you ever wanted to learn to row? The Princeton National Rowing Association is running and Adult Summer Rowing League geared toward brand new rowers as well as people who rowed a million years ago and wanted to get back in a boat.  Let's put a Littlebrook team together - parents, teachers, administrators - and have some summer fun! The team will meet once per week in the evening during the summer at Caspersen Rowing Center on Mercer Lake in West Windsor.  Please contact Littlebrook parent Hilary Gehman for more information at hgehman@rowpnra.org
