GIRLS ON THE RUN REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!

Girls on the Run® is an experiential learning, non-profit prevention program that uses the power of running to educate and prepare girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living. The 10-week program combines a curriculum focused on building self-esteem and improving emotional and physical health with training for a 3.1 mile (5K) event.  Participants learn how to make healthy decisions, resolve conflict, and get along in a group.  Girls on the Run of NJ East is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. “We inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.” The Littlebrook site will meet on Tues/Fri 3:15-4:30, beginning April 10th. CALLING ALL SCIENCE ENTHUSIASTS!
This year, the 9th annual LB Science Expo will be held on Friday May 18. That means we need LOTS OF scientists, biologists, mathematicians, engineers, physicians, astronomers, chemists, geneticists, and more, as well as those who have a scientific hobby or passion to contribute! PRINCETON 5K - Sunday, March 25, 8:30 a.m.
Come out and support the Princeton High School Cross Country and Track & Field programs at the 8th Annual Princeton 5K, scheduled for Sunday, March 25, 8:30 am.  Presented by Pacers Princeton Running, this fast, flat USATF-sanctioned course weaves through the Princeton community.  Registration is $35; $25 for PHS athletes.  Register at http://www.princeton5k.com.

HOMEFRONT ANNUAL 5K - Sunday, June 10th, 9:00 am

HomeFront is holding its annual  5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk.  HomeFront is a Mercer County homelessness/hunger non profit with the mission of breaking the cycle of poverty.  Please consider participating in this event by getting/staying healthy while helping homeless children.  Plus, HomeFront's Rock and Roll for Hope theme, with the participation of  Mr. McKenna's band  this year will make this event one you won't want to miss!  To start a team, or for more information, please go to www.homefrontnj.org,

 
LEARN TO ROW (FOR ADULTS) - LITTLEBROOK TEAM FORMING!
Have you ever wanted to learn to row? The Princeton National Rowing Association is running and Adult Summer Rowing League geared toward brand new rowers as well as people who rowed a million years ago and wanted to get back in a boat.  Let's put a Littlebrook team together - parents, teachers, administrators - and have some summer fun! The team will meet once per week in the evening during the summer at Caspersen Rowing Center on Mercer Lake in West Windsor.  Please contact Littlebrook parent Hilary Gehman for more information at hgehman@rowpnra.org
