PPS REFERENDUM MEETING - Wednesday, June 6th at 8:30am
Please join Superintendent Steve Cochran and School Board member Dafna Kendal in the Littlebrook APR to discuss PPS referendum.

 

PRETZELS ARE COMING! Thursday, May 17
Pretzels will be sold at lunchtime to benefit the Joe Fund, which provides scholarships to any Littlebrook students in need for extracurricular activities and camps. The price is $1 per pretzel.
 

CALL FOR McCAFFREY RECEIPTS 
McCaffrey's Food Market receipts can bring in over $1,000 each year for our school so please don't forget to collect and bring in yours. You can drop your receipts off in the school's main office or have your child bring them in via her/his class folder. A simple way to make a difference before the end of the school year!

 

LB SCIENCE EXPO - THIS FRIDAY, MAY 18th
We're delighted to announce that over 40 fabulous facilitators have volunteered to wow our kids with science this Friday! Hands-on presentations exploring anything and everything science, the Expo is a tremendous opportunity for our students to imagine what they might achieve one day. Get ready to hear some fascinating stories from your kids, and thanks in advance to all of the volunteers who are participating!

LET'S SHARE THE COOKING LOVE! 
Have a yummy recipe you’d like to share? That salad dressing you make that everyone raves about? A special treat or dish made for family celebrations? A simple comfort food that your family always asks for? What about a great place to shop for special ingredients? Have more than one recipe? Send them all along to be included in the first-ever Littlebrook Cookbook! The cookbook will be available for sale as a PTO fundraiser in the fall of 2018, so please submit your recipe now. You can use the Google form below (click on “Fill Out Form” box below), or e-mail me directly at vraesilva@gmail.com. SOCIAL STUDIES

The Tri-States Consortium is an organization of public school districts that aims to build a framework for planning and assessment in high performing schools. This group is coming to the Littlebrook library this Thursday, May 17th at 10:30am and would like to meet with a few parents to discuss the social studies curriculum for about 30 minutes. Please email carrie.elwood@gmail.com if you are able to attend.

LEARN TO ROW (FOR ADULTS) - LITTLEBROOK TEAM FORMING!
Have you ever wanted to learn to row? The Princeton National Rowing Association is running and Adult Summer Rowing League geared toward brand new rowers as well as people who rowed a million years ago and wanted to get back in a boat.  Let's put a Littlebrook team together - parents, teachers, administrators - and have some summer fun! The team will meet once per week in the evening during the summer at Caspersen Rowing Center on Mercer Lake in West Windsor.  Please contact Littlebrook parent Hilary Gehman for more information at hgehman@rowpnra.org
