Happy Spring, Llewellyn Families!

As we are nearing the end of the 3rd Quarter, I am so happy to announce that we have a return of the in-person Llewellyn After School Enrichment Program!  Due to PPS recently lifting restrictions and allowing programs to apply for permission to be in the schools, our spring session has been slightly shortened to 8 weeks. While there are less class offerings than our program has traditionally had, I have received word from many Instructors that they fully intend to return to a complete schedule of enrichment activities at Llewellyn for a full season next fall.

The official start date for our Spring Session is set for the week of Monday, April 11th, with one program beginning the week prior (week of April 4th).  All sessions begin immediately at 2:15 with the end of the school day and enrichment class instructors will be onsite to collect students immediately after school each day. Instructors will be waiting on the side of the school building closest to the blacktop and will have a sign with their class name. Students should be prepared to find their instructors. Llewellyn teachers will also have a list of their students who are taking after school classes, and should be helpful in ensuring kids get to the right place, especially the younger ones. Classes will end at either 3:15 or 3:30. When you register for the session, you will see a requirement to provide your child’s classroom teacher as well as how they should be dismissed at the end of the class (adult pick-up, released to YMCA, walk home, etc) and the instructors will have this list and be prepared to dismiss as such.

Below you will find a brief description of the class as well as additional information such as cost, grades served, and day offered. Registration will open on next Friday, March 18th at 9:00 a.m. via 6crickets website and continues through Friday, April 8th at 5:00 p.m.  Enrollment is held on a first-come, first-served basis so don’t hesitate to sign up!
