Join us this Saturday for a community Earth Day event! We have an AWESOME team of helpers who have put together tons of fun activities, so bring the whole family - rain or shine! Here's what to expect:

  • Learn about Mason Bees - from our school bee expert Debbie Conrad
  • Chalk Art Fun!
  • Recycled Bead Making - please bring empty cereal boxes!
  • Recycled Art Collage - clear out your junk drawer, bring the bottle caps from the recycling bit and any random bits that would otherwise be in the trash - we'll turn it into a piece of community art.
  • Garden Work Party - bring adult garden gloves! The garden shed has everything else we need
  • Plastic Film Recycling: Bring in all that annoy plastic film* in your life, and Ridwell will recycle it for us.

*Use this link to see what type of plastic film we can recycle. Also, sign up for Ridwell between now and May 7th using Get.Ridwell.com/Llewellyn and they will donate $25 to our school!

The most important aspect of this event is seeing YOU! Pop by, even if it's just a short visit. We want to make up for lost time from pandemic life by getting to know each other better and building community.
