Greetings Llewellyn Community!
Below are a few offerings from our typically "after school" instructors.
SPANISH LANGUAGE CLASS (Kindergarten-6th Grades)
Hola Amigos y Amigas! I am happy to continue offering Spanish Language Online Classes for Kindergarten through 6th Graders via Zoom beginning after Spring Break. Classes will include new weekly Spanish Vocabularies and Conversational Practices, Bilingual Books, Music, Cultural Lessons and related Art Activities. (Art materials list for term will be sent in advance.)
Spring Term will last ten weeks. (Beginning Week of April 5 through week of June 7.)
The format will be upbeat and active 1 hour classes once a week for 10 weeks for 2nd-5th Graders and two ½ hour classes per week for 10 weeks for Kindergarten and 1st Graders.
• Option A: Kindergarten/1st Grade Classes: Tuesday and Thursday Afternoons from 2:00-2:30 PM
• Option B: 2nd-5th Grade Classes: Tuesday Afternoons 3:00-4:00 PM
• Option C: 2nd-6th Grade Classes: Wednesday Afternoons 3:00-4:00 PM
A weekly Vocabulary/Conversation Practice sheet for 2nd-5th Grade classes will also be emailed
Course Fee will be $100. for 10 week term

Mad Science Natural Wonders
Our planet is precious. From the animals to the weather, to the rocks beneath our feet, there are so many things for us to learn! In this 4-8 week program, students will learn about how scientists interact with nature to learn about and protect the natural wonders all around us.

NEW MOON PRODUCTIONS - Acting for Fun (online) & Let’s Pretend (online)!
Your student will Love these very physically active online theater classes. Students will work on acting skills while enjoying plenty of laughter. A fun thing for students to look forward to every week! These game-oriented acting classes focus on creativity, thinking on your feet, listening, character development, improvisation, and much more! Students will have so much fun creating characters, exploring funny voices, and making up scenes! The class is hosted by New Moon Productions – the company that has provided after-school theater classes at Llewellyn for five years! New Moon is a non-profit children’s theater company, started in 1994.

CHESS WIZARDS - Chess Wizards Online
Our mission is to make learning chess fun and exciting for kids, and our classes are now available online. We've adapted some of our most popular activities in the physical classroom to fit the digital one. These include puzzles, tournaments, blitz games, and even chess variation games! Group classes, specially designed themed classes, and private lessons are just a few examples of the great experiences our online classes have to offer. Our class sizes are small, with up to 6 students per class. Registration is easy! Pick classes that match your child's skill level, and our amazing Chess Wizards staff will take care of the rest. 1 Hour, 64 Squares, Infinite Possibilities!

Our coaches will come to you Before, During, or After School to get your child outside and off their screens. Parents put the groups together and we will provide a fun, positive experience.
