Blown away by the generosity for last week's potluck! Teacher and staff truly felt the love. Let's keep that momentum going into October (moving forward, appreciation potlucks will be every 2nd Wednesday and providing them with snacks will be the 4th Wednesday depending on school closures).
For our October appreciation potluck on 10/11 , we thought comfort food is just what our teachers/staff need. Please consider signing up to bring your favorite dish or donate monetarily. Monetary donations go towards utensils, extra sides, to-go containers, fresh fruit, stocking coffee station, etc.
For our October snacks on 10/25, we will be supplying the teachers/staff with Appreciation Snacks (a bag full of goodies). Be on the lookout for a message from your room lead with more info on how we plan to add in some extra love. Snacks should be brought to school on the morning of Friday, 10/20 or email Ashley Garcia at GarciaFamSchool@gmail.com for alternative options. This will give us time to sort and deliver the Appreciation Bags.
We currently have about 50 teachers and support staff. Use this number when thinking about any food items made in large quantities. Food donations can be dropped in the staff break room upstairs between 8-10am
