Schoolyard expectations: Keep our hands to ourselves, use kind words, and when we have a disagreement Kelso's Wheel it Out.
Play Structure: Feet first down the slide, take turns on the spinner (10 spins), use both hands on the bars (no climbing), Walk & Move Safely. Be aware of others.

This system helps students determine the difference between a big problem (tell an adult) and a little problem (use Kelso’s Wheel, image below). After that, it gives them the tools to resolve conflict on their own. We have a banner on the playground that has these strategies for students:
