NEW Classes with Spots Open:
- Self Defense: We will be teaching physical and verbal self defense skills. All skills will be taught through partner work and interactive games. This will give the students an opportunity to practice these skills with their fellow class mates. Building stronger relationships within students and encouraging community building!
- Introduction to the Art of Magic: The purpose of this class is to introduce your students to the unique performing art of illusion, encourage their excitement in learning about magic, and build their confidence in performing and speaking in public. Students will learn some history of the art, a few famous magical performers, philosophy and theory of magic and the creative process of thinking like a magician. Each meeting the students will take home at least one magic effect or skill that we learn and practice in class. All props/supplies will be provided and the kids will be encouraged to take the props home to keep and practice. Experience both close-up and parlor magic including effects with cards, coins, cups, ropes and more. This Intro to the Art of Magic is great for all skill levels and abilities. At the end of the course, students will be performing LIVE for family and friends.
- Ultimate Frisbee: Ultimate Frisbee Club is a fun, beginner-friendly program for 3rd–5th graders to learn throwing, catching, and playing Ultimate. Kids stay active, build confidence, and practice Spirit of the Game—conflict-resolution, respect, and teamwork. A supportive, inclusive way to discover this fast-paced sport!
