Greetings parents,The City of Portland’s proposed budget calls for closing the Sellwood Community Center with no plans for the many kids who use the preschool or after school program. If you care about saving these valuable programs, and many other programs and jobs that are on the chopping block, please come to the Parks and Recreation budget hearing tomorrow, Tuesday, April 9, at 6:30. We want the city to be working with us to find a long-term plans for funding recreation, not cutting programs. There will be a rally before hand at 5:30. We need a huge turnout!--
