Hello Llewellyn Community,

One week from tomorrow, THURSDAY JANUARY 26TH is Llewellyn's Day to staff the PPS Clothing Closet.

This is a great way to assist students in need of additional resources. Volunteers assist kids receiving clothing and also sort donations to help make items viewable for kids. Thank you for the two volunteers who have signed up. We would like 3 to 4 more volunteers. 

Details: The PPS Clothing closet is located at Marshall (Benson) High School and provides families in need of clothing opportunities to shop for clothes.

Location: Marshall (Behson) High School 3905 SE 91st, Room B-60. Please check in at the clothing center. When walking through the main school entrance, take the hallway to the left, halfway down we are on the right, up the stairs and there we are!

This is a very rewarding experience and an opportunity to help more than our Llewellyn Community!

Additionally, we are still looking to fill the volunteer opportunities below. Please contact Brittany Petering (brittany.g.jones@gmail.com) and Dena Sayama (denasayama@gmail.com) are coordinating volunteers this year with any questions.

TALENT SHOW: Llewellyn has historically run a talent show to showcase the talents and skills of our students. In order to have a talent show, we need an enthusiastic parent or parent group to plan and coordinate the event!

PTA TEACHER APPRECIATION: Join the crew that helps plan the events for Teacher Appreciation. No time commitment too small or too large for this one!

5th GRADE FAREWELL: Plan the commencement and celebration for our fifth graders this spring. Work with the teachers to create a memorable experience for the kids.
