Good with numbers? The Treasurer manages the PTA’s budget, keeps track of income and expenses, and gives updates at meetings. You’ll help make sure funds are used wisely to support our school and share simple reports so everyone knows where the money goes. Time Commitment: A few hours a month, with extra time during big fundraisers. Perfect for: Organized, detail-minded people who are comfortable with basic finances. Responsible for all money in and out of accounts, Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts and general organization of paper trail. Filing appropriate "unit in good standing" paperwork in the Fall.

Love connecting people? This role is all about helping parents and caregivers get involved! The Volunteer Coordinator keeps track of PTA committees, recruits new helpers, and matches volunteers with the right opportunities. You’ll work with committee chairs, answer questions from interested families, and make volunteering easy and fun.

Want to support teachers and bring families into the classroom? The Classroom Volunteer Coordinator helps organize parent/caregiver helpers for class projects, parties, field trips, and other classroom needs. You’ll share sign-ups, keep volunteers informed, and make it easy for teachers to get the support they need.

Love spreading gratitude? This role is all about celebrating our amazing teachers and staff! The Staff Appreciation Coordinator helps plan treats, meals, and special surprises throughout the year—especially during Staff Appreciation Week. You’ll organize sign-ups, gather donations, and make sure our staff feel valued and celebrated.

Want to be part of the big picture? Directors at Large support the PTA by pitching in where help is needed most—whether it’s events, fundraising, or special projects. It’s a flexible role with no set committee, perfect for someone who wants to stay involved and make a difference across many areas.

The Advocacy Leader serves as the point of contact for advocacy efforts at your school—connecting your local PTA with the Oregon PTA and ensuring your school community’s voice is heard by decision-makers in your local district, Salem and beyond.
