Hopefully you are all starting to get into "the swing of things" as we enter our third week of school. I wanted to draw your attention to a couple things this week.
Annual Giving continues. Thank you to everyone that has already contributed this year. If you haven't already, please consider participating in our annual giving campaign. Your donation supports startup costs for all PTO sponsored programs and event planning fees that are due at the beginning of the school year. Art Corps, field trips, teacher classroom grants, Teacher Appreciation Week, science and technology supplies, Dia de los Muertos Festival, and so much more are all paid for with PTO fundraising. After School Programs. Be sure to check out this Fall's after school program offerings (attached). Most programs begin the last week of September or the first week of October. Visit the Konstella calendar for more information about the program, including dates and flyers to register your child.
Site Governance Team (SGT). Our first SGT meeting is on Tuesday morning. The SGT is an elected, representative team of staff, parents and interested members designed to give all stakeholders a greater responsibility in the planning and decision-making processes that support the teaching and learning of our students in the classroom.
