The Big Mingle is Maplewood's end of year, adults-only party.  

📅 May 16, 6:30-10:30pm
📍 The Baker School (Hyde Park)
👕 Dress code: wear clothes
👶 Childcare available via Parent's Night Out and JUMP!

What to expect:

• A chance to hang out together, without all the cute distractions we're usually surrounded by.

• DJ Mixer Rogers spinning everything from hip hop to classic cumbia, old soul to indie rock, plus your requests.

• Vintage letterpress poster printing (you'll get to make something cool with your hands and take it home).

• Open bar with cocktails, aguas frescas, tacos, and paletas from TacoWey.

🍹 Yep, you read that right - this year, The Big Mingle is open bar for everyone.

Tickets

• Teachers & staff: Free for you and your guest.
• Everyone else: Pay what you can. 

Childcare

• Parent's Night Out with Rosemary Salazar (6-11pm; $50 per kid; PreK-5th)

• JUMP! on Anderson Lane (6-10:30pm; $45 per kid; ages 3-10)

FAQ

Why pay what you can?
We want you to come to the party, no matter what your bank account is up to in this wildly uncertain and expensive season. Your presence is the most valuable thing you can share.


Okay but how much should I actually pay?
The hard cost of the party is $65 per person. That covers venue, dinner, dessert, drinks, DJ, and permits. If you're able to cover your seat, please do.


Can I cover someone else's ticket?
If you're able to cover a teacher, a community member, or more, you'll see options to do so when you select your tickets.

Where does the money go?

All proceeds over and above the cost of the party go directly back to teachers and staff as Summer Fun Funds.
