Hi Maplewood families,  

Here's something to ponder as we head into the weekend.  Our school flagpole rope broke recently, and while AISD will eventually fix it, I hear last time it took about a year for them to get to it!  So I thought I'd reach out on Konstella to see if anyone has any ideas on how we might fix it a bit sooner than that. 

Ms. Bass has the clips for the flags, but we'll need a new rope and most confounding: some way to safely thread that rope through a pulley which is affixed quite far off the ground.  

If you have the tools and expertise to help restring the flagpole, please let us know. Your assistance will ensure our flags can fly again!
