Hello, Maplewood Families,
As we approach the holiday season, I want to invite you to take part in a special program to help some of our very own Maplewood families who are in need of extra support.
One of the most incredible things about the Maplewood community is that we are a microcosm of the world, representing families with all kinds of lived experiences. A beautiful result of this is that during times of need, while we have some families really feeling the struggle, we also have generous, benevolent families seeking an opportunity to help.
We know the financial stress of the holiday can feel overwhelming, and that’s why we offer the Maplewood Holiday Help program, which matches donors with families who could really use a little extra support this season.
Here's how it works; we connect generous donors with families in need, and together we provide gift cards or gifts for the family, offering a bit of joy and relief during the holiday.
Here’s how you can participate:

Sign up HERE to be a donor. Simply sign up to donate and we’ll match you with a family, or an individual child, based on your preference.

Provide gift cards from retailers like Target, Walmart, or HEB.

Spread the joy and be creative! Maybe your neighbors or workplace would like to participate!
We are so grateful for the generosity of our community, and every little bit helps.
Whether you can donate one gift card, or be matched with a large family, your kindness will make a real difference in someone’s holiday season. Once you’ve provided your gift cards, we’ll make sure they get into the hands of Maplewood families who need them the most.
This is the season for giving, and together we can show what makes our Maplewood community so special.
