Parents, relatives, neighbors, friends and community members are invited to present in person to Maplewood  classrooms one day between  April 28th-May 16th!  Students at Maplewood would love to learn about the work you do, why you chose the work, and what about your work makes you happy.  All work experiences are valuable! ****If your Maplewood family experience is coming to a close soon, and you haven't come to share with us yet, please strongly consider presenting!!! We would love to learn from you!!****
If you are available, please respond by Friday, April 25, and I will schedule you to visit your child's classroom, and others if you choose, for a 20-25 minute presentation.  Please use the following points as a guideline for your share:

*Provide a brief description of your career and responsibilities.

*Show or describe your workplace (work clothes/materials, tools, pictures, and/or any equipment required). Props are exciting!  You can share slide show or videos.

*Briefly talk about type of training and education (degrees, certifications, licenses, etc.) with a special focus on how you integrate previous learning experiences from elementary school (language arts, math, science, social studies, music, art, physical education, social and emotional learning) in your chosen field of work.  

*How your personal interests and character traits play a role in your career and make it a good match for you.

*Describe the most rewarding part of your career, what you like best about what you do.

*Allow time for about 4 or 5 questions from students.  Please respond HERE to let me know your availability, and the type of work you do.  Thank you!!
