Hi all,

Today is the last day to submit the 2nd AISD comment card (sorry for the late heads-up!) and have the comments be considered for the final plan, which will be released on Friday.

At the last AISD board meeting, Trustee Foster indicated his great displeasure in the delay of the three school closures and the boundary changes. He requested that AISD present all of the delayed elements to the board for approval this December, and not next fall, as the Superintendent had indicated. So we should indicate our opposition to this idea.

AISD 2nd Comment Card

Select Maplewood, and then, for topic, please select:
"Future/paused plans: school closures:"

The message should be some version of the following:
"Please do not change the timeline for students, faculty and staff a third time by reintroducing the delayed school closures in December 2025. Please adhere to the timeline that the superintendent laid out when announcing the delays."

Thanks everyone! On Friday, we will see the final plan. That will give us a lot of info.
