Esto es lo que hay que hacer, y anotar en su calendario, para la próxima semana.
✅ Por hacer
- Cuéntenos cómo le gustaría a su familia participar este año, y uno de nuestros entusiastas y muy conocedores voluntarios le orientará hacia el mejor uso de su tiempo, talento y/o dinero.
- Inscriba a sus hijos en los juegos de matemáticas gratuitos durante la reunión de la PTA el 3/9.
- Necesitamos que al menos 12 de ustedes se unan oficialmente a la Texas PTA ($11.50) para poder mantener nuestro estatus de organización sin fines de lucro. No necesita dar este paso para ser parte de la PTA de Maplewood ni para participar en la escuela; esto es simplemente un trámite burocrático que debemos cumplir.

No son solo juegos de matemáticas gratuitos y dinero gratis el 3 de setiembre. Nuestra primera reunión de la PTA del año también incluye:

- Jueves 3 de septiembre, 5:30pm: Primera reunión de la PTA, con una charla de Chandra Kring Villanueva sobre financiamiento, políticas y defensa de la educación pública. Cena gratuita, cuidado infantil gratuito. Todos son bienvenidos.

- Let us know how your family would like to get involved this year, and one of our enthusiastic and all-knowing volunteers will guide you to the best use of your time, talents, and/or money.
- Register your kiddos for free math games during the PTA meeting on 9/3.
- We need at least 12 of you to officially join the Texas PTA ($11.50) in order to keep our nonprofit status. You do not need to take this step to be part of Maplewood's PTA or get involved at the school; this is just a bureaucratic box we need to check.
🤑 Let's get that money!

It's not just free math games and free money on September 3. Our first PTA meeting of the year also has:
- Free dinner
- Free childcare (math games for Kinder and up; Rosemary Salazar for Pre-K)

- Sign up for volunteer opportunities through Konstella. Upcoming ones include Volunteer Garden Work Day (tomorrow!), the 75th Anniversary Celebration, and picking up coffee the morning of 9/4.

Volunteering is just one of a bazillion ways to get involved at Maplewood, and if you're not sure where to start, there are a bazillion volunteers ready and eager to help you navigate options.
