When is the 75th anniversary party, again?
This Saturday, September 12, 10am-1pm. Stop by anytime—but we recommend getting there early, because there is SO much fun stuff to do.
Is it free?
Yes!
Will we encourage you to donate to support Maplewood’s next 75 years?
Yes, of course.
But the event is 100% free, with zero pressure or expectation to donate. Your presence is the best thing you can contribute.
Where should I park?
The Maplewood faculty parking lot will be reserved for guests with limited mobility.
You can park in the neighborhood, or in the Genesis Church parking lot (1507 Wilshire Blvd, Austin, TX 78722, next to Patterson Park).
Can I bring my friend / neighbor / babysitter / long-lost third cousin who weirdly and conveniently reappeared in my life just in time for this most epic party?
Yes! This event is family friendly and open to everyone.
Should I visit each decade of Maplewood in order?
Our *incredible* event team created an exhibit and activity for each decade of Maplewood (1950s - 2020s) which you can visit and enjoy in any order you like.
When you arrive, your family will get a map of the event and you can time travel in whichever order works for you.
Is there a prize for visiting all the decades?
On the back of your map, you’ll get to check off each decade you visit. Fill up that card, and your kids can pick out a candy from one of the decades. We’ll have treats from 1950s on for them to choose from.
WIll there be food?
We’ll have free snacks, lemonade and tea from Raising Cane’s, and coffee from Cherrywood Coffeehouse. It won’t add up to a full lunch, so plan accordingly.
What should I do to show my gratitude for the parents who organized this birthday party for Maplewood?
Come! Enjoy yourself! That’s the very best thing.

¿Cuándo es la fiesta del 75.º aniversario, otra vez?
Este sábado 12 de septiembre, de 10am a 1pm. Puede pasar en cualquier momento, pero le recomendamos llegar temprano porque hay MUCHÍSIMAS cosas divertidas para hacer.
¿Es gratis?
¡Sí!
¿Los animaremos a donar para apoyar los próximos 75 años de Maplewood?
Sí, por supuesto.
Pero el evento es 100% gratuito, sin ninguna presión ni expectativa de donar. Su presencia es la mejor contribución que puede hacer.
¿Dónde debo estacionarme?

¿Debo visitar cada década de Maplewood en orden?
Nuestro increíble equipo de eventos creó una exhibición y una actividad para cada década de Maplewood (desde 1950 hasta 2020), las cuales puede visitar y disfrutar en el orden que prefiera.
Al llegar, su familia recibirá un mapa del evento y podrá viajar en el tiempo en el orden que más le convenga.
¿Hay un premio por visitar todas las décadas?
Al reverso de su mapa podrá marcar cada década que visite. Si completa la tarjeta, sus hijos podrán escoger un dulce de alguna de las décadas. Tendremos golosinas desde los años 50 en adelante para que elijan.
¿Habrá comida?
Tendremos bocadillos gratis, limonada y té de Cane's, y café de Cherrywood Coffeehouse. No será suficiente para un almuerzo completo, así que planifique en consecuencia.
¿Qué puedo hacer para mostrar mi gratitud a los padres que organizaron esta fiesta de cumpleaños para Maplewood?
