Please read this important information about today's afterschool dismissal which impacts ALL of our families: 

All Elementary/Secondary students who are not in after care will be released at the front gate today and Monday, starting at 3:00.  The sidewalks adjacent to our back gate on Hattaras Avenue are under construction, and the area is impassable. 

Teachers will be on-hand to direct students to their parents as quickly as possible during dismissal.  Parents, please do not linger in the white zone or on the sidewalk.  If there is no space in the white zone, please drive around the block, or park your car on the streets adjacent to the school.  Do not stop in the traffic lane on Pocahontas.  

We ask Primary parents to pick up as early and as quickly as possible, and know that parents may not leave their vehicle in the white zone during the 3-3:30 pick up time.  There will be close to 100 elementary/secondary students dismissed to their parents, waiting at the white curb, during that time.  

It is possible the work will continue through Tuesday.  We will get you that information as it is available.
