Our annual schoolwide picnic is just a few days away! This favorite MMS tradition is a wonderful chance to gather as a community, enjoy a festive fall day at the park, and connect with families from every grade level.

📅 Saturday, October 3
⏰ 11:00 A.M.–2:00 P.M.
📍 Kearny Mesa Recreation Park
3170 Armstrong St., San Diego, CA 92111

Come ready for an afternoon of bounce houses, games, crafts, shaved ice, food, and plenty of fun for the kids!

Remember to Share in the Potluck!

The picnic is a family potluck, so please sign up to bring a favorite dish to share with the MMS community.  Please label dishes and note any allergies or dietary mentions(vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, contains nuts, etc.).

🙋 Volunteers Needed!

Our Picnic Committee has been hard at work preparing this special day, but they need the help of our MMS families to make it all happen. Every family is encouraged to sign up for a volunteer activity—whether it’s helping at the welcome table, assisting with crafts, keeping the bounce houses safe, making shaved ice, or helping with set-up or take-down.

It’s also a great way to earn some of your family’s volunteer hours!

Canopies and coolers are also needed! And be sure to bring your chairs, blankets, and plenty of water so you can settle in and enjoy the afternoon.

We’re looking forward to a fun, festive fall day celebrating our MMS community! 🍁
