Dear Marshall Lane Families,

The Haunted House is one of our most beloved Pumpkin Fest traditions, but we do not have enough volunteers to build it this year.

Currently, almost all build commitments come from PTA board members who are already running the rest of Pumpkin Fest—they cannot build the Haunted House alone. Without more volunteers, we will have to scale back or cancel this tradition.

How You Can Help

Build Week runs October 19–22 in the MPR (preparing for the Fire Marshal walkthrough on Oct 23). Morning, afternoon, and evening slots are available.

• No experience or volunteer clearance needed!

• Tasks for everyone: Hanging curtains, placing props, decorating, and assembling scenes.

• Flexible time: Even 1 or 2 hours makes a huge difference. Bring a friend!

⚠️ Future Lead Shadow Opportunity

This is our longtime Haunted House lead’s final year at Marshall Lane. We urgently need parents to shadow him this year so this tradition can continue in the future. No prior experience required!
