Welcome to the Meadowbrook Farms School Parent Teacher Group (MFS PTG).
The PTG has always provided a vital link between Meadowbrook students, families, Staff and school. Here are a few PTG related things to know as we start the new school year:
- Konstella - This is the PTG’s primary communication tool and is the best way to stay informed about PTG happenings, volunteer opportunities and more. If you are new to Meadowbrook, go to www.konstella.com, type “meadowbrook farms”, select our school, and fill out the required info to sign up. You can also download an app to your smartphone. If you are a returning parent, simply log in to your existing account and assign your child to his/her new classroom.
- Facebook - Our PTG Facebook group is another great way to stay informed about PTG initiatives and reminders. Join us at https://www.facebook.com/groups/MeadowbrookPTG/
- Meadowbrook and District ListServ - These ListServs are the best way to stay connected to district and building level communication. We encourage you to sign up for the Meadowbrook Farms ListServ to receive updates and announcements from our Principal, Mr. Marcaccio. There is also a separate ListServ with district-wide information sent from the Superintendent’s office. You can sign up for both at https://www.egsd.net/parents/list-serve-sign-up-information
- Parent Checklist - To help for a smooth transition back to school, we have created a “Parent Checklist” that is posted on Konstella. Check it out!
As the school year unfolds, we’ll keep you posted as we learn more and navigate the PTG’s evolving role at Meadowbrook Farms. As of now, we do not have many volunteer opportunities posted since PTG events and activities are on hold until further notice. But, rest assured, if there are ways for us to help our school community, we’ll certainly do so and will communicate accordingly.
Please feel free to reach out to us via email with any ideas or questions you might have for the coming school year.
