Dear Meyerholz Community,
Collins PTA President, Chanden Moya, has been leading a gift drive for Family Giving Tree (https://familygivingtree.org) for over 15 years. Please see her message below on how your family can help an underprivileged community member this holiday season.
- Meyerholz Elementary PTA
As usual, I had signed up to be a drive leader for Family Giving Tree for their annual Holiday Gift Drive. This year I have 198 gift tags ranging from unborn children to seniors - all of them that live here in our county! I didn't let the unfortunate circumstances of the pandemic stop me from trying to bring others joy during this holiday season. I hope that you all feel the same too!
I have included my spreadsheet of all 198 wishers that are on Santa's nice list that could use some help from a neighborly elf.
PLEASE remember to fill out the google form to "pick up" your tags - this helps me a lot and helps to ensure the same tag is not selected by more than one person.

Please choose one or more to help out this giving season. I will be collecting gifts at my porch (10171 Parlett Pl Cupertino) as I have the years before until Monday 10:30pm (Dec 7) as I must drop off all of the gifts to the warehouse on Monday. Please do not wrap the gifts and if possible please include a post-it or any other type of paper with the CM# (found in column A) with your gift. There is also a virtual giving tree (where you just pay for the specific gift on the site instead of shopping) for those that are interested: https://vtree.fgt.
org/CollinsElementaryPTA/ Thank you in advance for your generosity to help others in our community to enjoy the holidays with a little extra sparkle. Please feel free to share this post/spreadsheet/form through your social media channels, to friends, family, co-workers, etc. As you can imagine it will be harder than usual to try to get these gifts than usual. Spread the joy not the germs! If you have any questions, please send me a private message or email me at email@example.com
