If you haven't done so already, you should already be working on your 2017-18 taxes. I have only received copies from two schools so far, so I want to make sure the rest are in progress. This is the responsibility of the outgoing board from last year. If you need help, please let me know, or you can contact our Council Treasurer, Stephanie Guthrie, at

The Workers' Comp Form is attached. ALL PTA's MUST FILL ONE OUT, even if no one was paid. None of our Milpitas PTA's pay employees, so the form is easy for us all. This form applies for the 2018 Calendar Year (ending in December, not the 2018-19 school year). If you don't anticipate paying anyone through the end of this year (if it is not in your adopted budget, this will most likely not be changed), please complete the form now. If no one was (or will be) paid, please write "NO ONE PAID" in big letters across the table on the form.


Dues for a minimum of 15 members, and your insurance dues of $232 are due by OCTOBER 1ST, which is next Monday. If you have already collected dues for more than 15 members, your check should include dues for all members to date, not just 15. Checks can be dropped off to Spangler's front office, C/O Silvia Dias, or arrangements can be made for pick up. Please be sure to include a Unit Remittance Form with any check submissions.
