Preparations are underway for our big kickoff event for the fall: International Walk & Roll to School Day on Wednesday, October 4. All schools participating in the Safe Routes to Schools program are encouraged to participate in this fun and meaningful event that will get students and families active while reducing traffic congestion and improving air quality around schools.
All participating schools will receive giveaways for students who walk and roll to school, and our Safe Routes staff will support you in making this a great event!
The Alameda County Safe Routes to School Program is funded by the Alameda County Transportation Commission. Your transportation dollars at work!
