Walk-A-Thon
We are so excited for our Walk-A-Thon Wednesday, October 2nd!
This is an incredible opportunity to support our Mountain Lion Fund by donating and pledging event laps for your child. Every $25 your child collects, they will be entered into a drawing to win one of our awesome prizes! Donations and pledges due back to your child’s teacher by Tuesday, October 15th.
Reminders! For The Walk-A-Thon, make sure you…
- Apply sunscreen for your child before school.
- Bring a labeled hat.
- Bring an extra water bottle labeled with their name and classroom number.
Please have your child wear their class color shirt that day. See below for class color and their Walk-A-Thon time slots. - Families may enter at “Gail’s Gate” at your student(s) run time to cheer them on! Bubbles are encouraged! ;-)
Walking times and Spirit colors are as follows:
8:30-8:45
2nd Grade (wear Orange) & 3rd Grade (wear Purple)
8:55-9:10
1st Grade (wear Blue), Hutchings, B-8 & Amundson, A-4 (wear Tie-Dye)
9:20-9:40
4th Grade (wear Red) & 5th Grade (wear Green)
10:35-10:45 (walk-only due to weather conditions)
Kindergarten (wear Yellow) and Dianne Adair Pre-K
The class that collects the highest average donation per student will be rewarded with an ice cream sundae party!
