Just a few housekeeping announcements on our use of the back gate at Monte Gardens. Please read through to the end, thank you!!!

• Sunrise & Shadelands: We are getting feedback that Monte Gardens students and families are walking through their parking lot, which is blocking their bus circle.  
• Use sidewalks & crosswalks to get to school.
• Cars are double parking in the Shadelands/Sunrise circle. We are not allowed to use the Sunrise & Shadelands circle for drop off/pick up. There is no parking in the Sunrise/Shadelands Parking lot.
• Students & families need to be walking bicycles and ebikes through the Sunrise & Shadelands and Monte Gardens campuses. 
• Make sure your student wears a bike helmet when on a bike or scooter. All bikes must be walked on campus, in parking lots, in crosswalks & sidewalks. Thank you!
• A friendly reminder, there are no dogs allowed on Monte Gardens, Shadeland and Sunrise campuses.
• If you see a Monte Gardens student or family not using the backgate area correctly, please politely remind them of the expectations in this area.
• The back gate area is open as an agreement to use it appropriately & to have volunteers to manage the crosswalk area. This back area can be closed due to not using the back gate area as we are encouraging.
• As of now, we are very short on volunteers. We need the community to come together. Please email Bess Inzeo at inzeob@mdusd.org if you can volunteer.
