Dear Monte Gardens Community,

Thank you to everyone who participated in our recent family and teacher/staff surveys to help inform the distribution of funds for the proposed 2026–2027 Monte Gardens Parents Club budget. We are deeply grateful for the thoughtful feedback, collaboration, and care our community continues to show in helping shape priorities that support all students, staff, and programs at Monte Gardens.

Based on the survey feedback and continued community conversations, the revised proposed budget includes an increase to Counselor staffing support to help fund two days from Parents Club for a full five days of Counselor presence on campus. To help accommodate this important investment in student wellness and social-emotional support, we have proposed minimal reductions to fifth grade camp and event allocations.

We understand that every program and experience supported by Parents Club funding matters deeply to our community, and we remain committed to balancing student enrichment, classroom support, staff partnership, and student wellness in a thoughtful and transparent way.

We also invite you to save the date for our upcoming online General Membership Meeting taking place tonight on Thursday, May 28th at 7:00PM PT. During this meeting, we will review community feedback, discuss the revised proposed budget, and continue important conversations about the future of our Parents Club programs and support for Monte Gardens students.
