Grants & Scholarships Committee

The Grants and Scholarships Committee is dedicated to seeking external funding opportunities and managing scholarship programs to support students and teachers within the school community. This committee conducts research, applies for grants, and manages the distribution of scholarships or awards, ensuring that deserving individuals have access to additional resources for educational purposes. Committee collaborates with school administration, Parents Club leadership, and other applicable stakeholders.

The Grants and Scholarships Committee Chair leads the committee in identifying and pursuing external funding opportunities. They research and apply for grants that align with the needs of the school community, manage the scholarship program, and ensure fair and transparent selection processes. The chair collaborates with the Parents Club board, school administration, and community organizations to establish criteria, review applications, and facilitate the distribution of grants and scholarships. Regular reporting on the committee's activities, including grant application status and scholarship recipient updates, is provided to the Parents Club board.

The Grants and Scholarships Committee Member supports the chair in conducting research on available grants, preparing grant applications, and managing the scholarship program. They assist with gathering and organizing application materials, reviewing submissions, and participating in the selection process. The Member may also help maintain records of awarded grants, track scholarship recipients, and assist in communicating with applicants and awardees. Additionally, the Member collaborates with the committee chair and other members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks related to grants and scholarships.
