Hello, MDE Families!

Do you like parties?  Do you like prizes?!  We are thrilled to share with you that Mt. Diablo
Elementary and the PFC will be hosting our very first Eagle-A-Thon in May!!  Our goal is to raise
$40,000 and we can’t do it without YOU!!!

The Eagle-A-Thon will be held on Wednesday, May 17th, 2023 and we are SO excited for the
theme of this year’s event: READ AND RUN YOUR WAY TO SUPERHERO STATUS! We
encourage you to wear superhero-themed clothing for this fun day (NO masks, face coverings, or weapons please)!  Every student will get to choose to RUN or READ for the DAY OF the event and will be encouraged to log their reading minutes in the 2 weeks leading up to the event!

Participating is easy! To sign up, go to https://pledgestar.com/mtdiablo/ starting Monday, April 17th!  Fill out the Google form whether your child/children will READ OR RUN for the day of the  event. Please complete this by May 1st . Once you register, you can use the online tools to reach out to friends and family & get their support. We’d be so grateful for your participation and support.

And of course, we’ve got some fun prizes to encourage participation & fundraising!
