Once again Student Leadership will be hosting a Food Bank Drive benefitting the Contra Costa Food Bank. Student Leadership would like to break our current record of donated food of 2,194 pounds from last year. Here are the details!
Donation bags will be sent home with the students. The bags show what items are popular for the donations. (We will not accept monetary donations at school, but you may make monetary donations to the Food Bank directly.)
Each grade level will have a donation bin for students to bring food. Each barrel will be labeled by grade level. Please have you children take any donated food to your assigned barrel.
-Kindergarten: Between Room 1 and 2
-First Grade: Located in MUR by Main Entrance ( we will make sure that this bin and the 2nd grade bin have equal access)
-Second Grade: Located in MUR by Main Entrance
-Third Grade: Barrel will be located in the POD
-Fourth Grade: Barrel will be located in the Resource Room (37)
-Fifth Grade: Barrel will be located in the Eagles Nest (38)
Prizes will be awarded as follows:
1st Place: Each student in the grade level will receive 10 Eagle Feathers.
2nd Place: Each student in the grade level will receive 5 Eagle Feathers.
3rd Place: Each student in the grade level will receive 3 Eagle Feathers.
All other grades will receive 1 Eagle Feather for effort.
