MDE Odyssey Members Move On To World Finals!
Sri Dey's team took 3rd place in the Division 1 level at the CA State Tournament on 3/25 and will be moving on to the Odyssey World Finals at Michigan State University Memorial Day weekend!

5th graders Hannah Laverick and Keira Caldwell competed on Team Smarties (the Diablo View Middle School Odyssey Team coached by Renee Culp). Smarties took 1st place at the Division 2 level and will also be moving on to World Finals!
Please wish our young participants luck as they prepare to compete with teams from across the United States, as well as countries including South Korea, Switzerland, Poland and Hong Kong.
Odyssey of the Mind builds teamwork, problem solving skills, creativity, and out of the box thinking. Participation is only possible because of the time and dedication put in by volunteer coaches. MDE currently has several students who would like to participate in the program, but we are in need of more volunteer coaches.
