Hello MDE families,

Welcome back! We hope you all had a great spring break.

We wanted to send a friendly reminder that Parent Faculty Club (PFC) elections for the 2023-2024 School Year will take place at the PFC Meeting this Thursday, April 13 at 7pm. All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend either in person or via Zoom (link in calendar).

There are a handful of Executive Board Positions and several Committee positions open. Note- We haven’t yet heard of any interest in the VP of Fundraising or Co-Treasurer positions. Please let us know if you have any interest in one of these incredibly important positions.

PLEASE NOTE that if we do not find Committee Leaders for the events listed, they may need to be cancelled for next year (school dances, talent show, etc). If you have some capacity and are willing to help MDE, please consider overseeing a committee. Some of the roles require a minimal time commitment while some require more. If you are interested in volunteering, please reach out to me and I would be happy to help you pick something that fits your interest and availability.  I have attached the bylaws which highlight commitment and position descriptions.

All Board officers must be voted in. You do NOT need to be present on Thursday in order to be voted in.
