Participate in Nea's first STEAM Day!

 

STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) Day will inspire kids to explore, create, and build and to learn through hands-on activities and interactions.

Activities will be designed for Lower Village learners.

 

Please sign up to host a table with an activity.  Here are some possibilities (or create your own!):

Paper circuits

Paper circuit mural
Scribble machines
Engineering paper bridges

Catapults

Lego WeDo

Making ink pads

Egg drop

Initial stamp making
Woodworking

Soldering

 

Other project ideas:

Kitchen chemistry (such as vinegar, baking soda, and food coloring)

Building large structures with leftover cardboard boxes (and painter's tape and possibly tools from Make.Do)

Build a chair out of cardboard
Sew pillows
Make fairy houses
Draw a Lego structure in 3D on isometric graph paper
Stomp rockets
