Welcome NEA Families!
Whether this is your first year or you're a seasoned NEA family you know what a special place this is! Your NEA PTSA is a major funding mechanism for our school and we are here to support our school, our facilitators and our kids. Each year your NEA PTSA collects over $100,000 and puts that money to work for our children. This year our goal is to raise over $135,000. If you are doing the math with me you'll see this is about $300 per Learner. That's a lot of cheddar to raise but we know with your generous help we can do it! Your NEA PTSA raises these funds in three main ways: Support NEA Now (~25%); Walkathon (~35%); NEA Night Out (~30%). The funds that are donated by you are used in a variety of ways including (but not limited to): NEA Art & Music program; Sports; Classroom Supplies; Campus Beautification; Field trips; Community Events; Spirit gear; facilitator Wishlists; Assemblies & family Workshops and much, much more! I am sure you will agree it is important and wise to invest in our school, our facilitators and our kids. So we ask that you consider what your family can to help towards our first fundraiser of the year. The families that are able please consider giving $500 or more. For our NEA families for whom this would be difficult please consider an amount that makes sense for you. Please also check with your employer about matching gifts- this is an easy way to sometimes double or even triple your own contribution. Your NEA PTSA Board thanks you for any and all contributions. - In your Friday folder: use the attached envelope for cash or check; fill out the slip so we know who to attribute the gift to and place in the NEA PTSA lock box in the office.
